Thanksgiving is a time for reflection for many people. We reflect on what we have done and set goals for what’s to come. We give thanks for our hard work, and if we were with our families, we give thanks that everyone was able to get together safely. We might have imbibed a bit more than usual, and stuffed our faces to our greatest delight, but at the end of the night, being with the ones we love is what truly matters.
I didn’t get the opportunity to get the family photos that we take every year, but I was able to take some snapshots from the weekend we had together, celebrating Thanksgiving as a family.
This was an interesting shoot for me as I’ve never shot anything like this before. I find it refreshing to try new things and expand my photography skills and to be able to have the opportunity to do things like this! My friend Laura Tillman is an up-and-coming interior designer in Maryland. Look out for her, she’s looking to do some big things!
